"The Influence of Young Age Marriage Against the Level of Divorce in the Sungguminasa Religious Court".
This study aims to find out and analyze how the influence of young age marriage on the level of divorce that occurred in the Sungguminasa Religious Court. And to find out and analyze the factors that cause young age marriage.
This research was conducted at the Sungguminasa Religious Courts office. The qualitative method described descriptively is the method of collecting data in the form of field studies by conducting interviews directly with judges and also using library studies. Primary data is obtained by direct interviews using interview guidelines that have been structured to informants and provide questionnaires while secondary data is obtained by examining journals and literature relating to the object of research, the data obtained are analyzed qualitatively by explaining the problems discussed in the thesis .
The results of this study indicate that: (1) The influence of young age marriage on the occurrence of divorce in the Sungguminasa Religious Court is quite high because there are as many as 5,493 divorce cases in the last five years due to young marriage. (2) The factors that influence the occurrence of young age marriage in the Sungguminasa Religious Court are parents, economy, education, free association and culture / customs. The results showed that parental factors were the most influential (dominant) factors.
The government in this case should further promote Law No. 1 of 1974 and the Compilation of Islamic Law specifically relating to the issue of young marriage so that in the future there will not be a dispute and disputes between the two parents, Law No. 1 of 1974 and KHI as positive law should be able to provide the best solution for problems that exist and live in the community. Including the issue of underage marriage or young age should be explained further. Hopefully this is a problem that must be solved next. So that related to divorce can also be resolved fairly and surely.
